On Friday 24 June, Dunfermline band Dancing on Tables have their biggest headline show to date at PJ Molloys – before heading to Glasgow for the opening night of King Tut’s Summer Nights 2016. The band, whose members are Robbie McSkimming Callum Thomas, Hamish Finlayson, Gregor Stobie and Michael Waterworth, recently won Best Live Music Act at Dunfermline Press Awards. Young Dunfermline band Dancing on Tables have just released this trailer for their upcoming EP Waiting on the Nation, available in April 2015. The band, who play ‘infectious indie rock’ are going out on a short tour to launch the EP: catch them at The Corinna in Perth on Thursday 19 March, Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh on 21 March and Drouthy’s in Dundee on 22 March. Now and again towns the size of Dunfermline are lucky – or smart – enough to catch great bands on the ascendant: Catfish and the Bottlemen played PJ Molloys last night and they were brilliant.
