Dunfermline’s Pecha Kucha is back, and it’s in a brand new venue, the award-winning Dunfermline Carnegie Library and Galleries. The free event is at 7pm on Thursday 15 June and follows the rapid Pecha Kucha format; 20 slides lasting 20 seconds each. Each talk is less than seven minutes. One of Fife’s best free events, the Fresh Air Festival will take place on Saturday 27 May in Dunfermline’s Public Park. You may still be in denial that Christmas is happening but we’re going to tell you about a festive market anyway. This year Fire Station Creative is hosting its first Christmas market complete with mulled wine and mince pies. Timed to coincide with the Dunfermline’s High Street Christmas light switch-on Saturday 19 November, the market will be open from 10am until 4pm, with live music by Opus 8 at 2.30pm.
