Local band and recent Outwith Festival headliners Dancing on Tables, release their new single today. Described by Wonderland Magazine as an ‘anthemic indie banger’, Colour Me Good features, according to Earmilk, ‘dreamy melodies cascading down as searching harmonies scale the track’. Glasgow has Tenement TV, Washington has Tiny Desk, London has Sofar Sounds and now Dunfermline has The Loop, an ambitious new project from Loopmaniac Studios. The Youtube-hosted show features live music sessions from performers – local and from further afield – whose music makes the hair on the back of producer Liam Saunders’ hair stand on end, as well as interviews and coverage of art exhibitions and other cultural events.
Here is Captivity, the newly released first single from hotly tipped Moonlight Zoo who are Jamie Adamson, Reece Dobbin, Sean Defrancesco and Graeme Mcleod. The track was produced by Magnus Collie and the video directed by Rory Cowieson. You can hear more of Moonlight Zoo’s music here.
