From 5-30 April, Fire Station Creative’s own in house textile designer, Claire Christie, will display her latest work in their cafe in celebration of local architecture. ‘My studio here at the Fire Station Creative looks out over the rooftops of Dunfermline and it has been this skyline, its patterns, shapes and rhythms that have inspired this new collection of printed textiles.’ says Claire who studied printed textiles and surface pattern
This Fife wedding was styled by Dunfermline artist, Claire Christie for the McGregor family from Cupar. Relatives of the couple hosted the wedding on their private working farm outside Auchtermuchty with 3 barns providing the venue for the reception, the bar and the service. Their brief to Claire was for a traditional Scottish country barn wedding using items found on the farm and making interesting props with the salvaged materials

The statutory blue flecked carpet and shiny wood furniture that characterise so many legal offices are all too often made over with black leather, chrome and a job lot of abstract wall art so it’s refreshing to see Dunfermline law firm Stevenson & Marhsall set an imaginative precedent by appointing interior designer and upcycling specialist Claire Christie of Clarabella Christie to give their offices a charming makeover.
