Swing Ltd is probably not for the faint hearted. The night Avocado Sweet visited the Glasgow club, the performers, a couple both dressed in tails, were pulling members of the audience on to the dance floor to tango to an Eminem track quickly followed by a Glen Miller song. But the engaging owner Craig has big ambitions for this tiny venue. He’s recreating a 1920s style club complete with table service and live performances. Give him his due; he’s trying to offer something different and probably no two nights are the same. Best to pre-book a table at £10 a head, otherwise it’s £7 entry at the Hope Street venue.070204-105
