A short, simple menu coupled with industrial decor are the main ingredients of Paesano Pizza. Add to this, a no nonsense approach to toppings and a doughy rather than a crisp base. All of which is more Neapolitan than Pizza Express – with their crisp bases and toppings that include raisins. Our visit was on a very busy Saturday afternoon but we didn’t wait long for our food to emerge from the wood-fired pizza ovens. Nevertheless, we still received an apology and a deduction from our bill for the delay we hadn’t even noticed. Reasonably priced, it’s worth a visit to the Miller Street venue.
