Catherine Lindow, creator of charming and lyrical illustrations such as the one of the new Dunfermline museum below, will be making the most of a nice rhyme and sitting in a window in Inverkeithing this Saturday, drawing. ‘Lindow in the Window’ will take place from 13 until 17 June at Maker. As well as drawing what she can see from her window perch, Catherine is hoping people will come along and share their memories and ideas of the local area to inspire and inform the art she creates.
Catherine studied painting at Glasgow School of Art before working as a theatre designer. As an artist, she is inspired by the landscapes and townscapes around her and enjoys seeing what text and artwork can say together. You can see more of Catherine’s work here.
