Unlike the rest of us, Lauren Kobilnyk and Ross Macauley haven’t left their photo collection languishing on a memory card or cluttering up their computer. The Dunfermline based pair have set up Jewel in her Crown which sells these superb silk scarves, digitally printed with polaroid style photographs.

Lauren says, ‘We’ve been really please with the positive feedback our first collection has generated. To have orders come in from people we have never met is still very much a novelty for us!’

She goes on, ‘We love having the opportunity to share our ‘photo album’ with others. Everyone seems to have a different favourite although the chinook (above) is very popular.’

The scarves in this first spring/summer collection are 100% silk chiffon and measure 105cm by 105cm. Each costs £35 and comes with its own gift bag and anecdote about the photograph featured. Delivery in the UK is free and international orders are welcome.

‘We are already planning our next collection,’ says Lauren, ‘and have received some very interesting suggestions from our customers!’
