First Jimmy Shand, then The Proclaimers and now Honeypeace Records are putting Auchtermuchty on the musical map. Honeypeace is an independent record label based in the north Fife town. The label works with singer songwriters such as Ryan Lothian from Auchtermuchty, Jared Neville from Cupar and Johann Heartbeat from Sweden. They have so far released music on CD, cassette tape and on all major digital outlets and plan to nurture their acts as they develop in the music industry. The label is also running a  Kickstarter campaign to launch their first vinyl release, a limited edition 12″ EP of Johann Hearbeat’s debut EP ‘Westend’.

They say: ‘we have our hearts set on releasing great music that is entirely how the artist wants it. We don’t restrict ourselves by location and we want to connect the global community though the music we release.’
