Two impressive line ups are planned for next two Tae Sup Wi Fifer events at Kirkcaldy’s Adam Smith Theatre in May and June.

On Friday 18 May, the ever brilliant Withered Hand – aka Dan Willson – appears alongside Ian McMillan and Grace Petrie. McMillan is a writer and broadcaster whose latest poetry collection To Fold The Evening Star was published last year. As well as presenting BBC Radio 3’s The Verb, he’s a regular on BBC Breakfast, Coast and Countryfile.  Petrie is a folk singer, songwriter and activist whose Heart First Aid Kit was one of Mojo magazine’s top 10 albums of 2017.

On Saturday 16 June 2018 it’s the turn of comedian and actor Phil Jupitus who is billed with Michael Hurley and Siobhan Wilson. This is a rare UK appearance by hugely influential American alt-folk music legend Hurley while Siobhan Wilson’s incisively written, boldly unorthodox indie-pop/folk-noir songs have earned rhapsodic reviews.
