Cristiano Guarnacci, the chef pictured above, has been creating Italian food for diners in west Fife for many years; first as the owner of Italian restaurant, Taurasi, and then, as a chef at Ciao Italia. His latest venture, Incontri, also in Dunfermline, opened on 23 March. The Bruce Street restaurant is a joint venture with Paul and Nicola Mitchell; Nicola manages front of house while Cristiano runs the open plan kitchen. The two course business lunch is £8.50 and there’s an a la carte menu in the evenings.

I was there on Saturday, what a great place . Food and service was excellent. The decor was amazing so cool and I felt like I was in the centre of Glasgow. So glad to have a beautiful Restuarant in Dunfermline.
Hi Louise, thanks for your comment. The owners have made a great effort to get the decor right haven’t they?. Cheers
Been twice since it opened, both times it was excellent. First as a couple and tonight with three generations of family. We all loved it! Decor so modern and cosmopolitan too. Love it!!
Hi Lesley, thanks for your comment. Wide range of age groups the night we visited as well. Cheers
I had the pleasure of dining here today to treat my sister for a birthday lunch. I was there with my little 2 year old boy also. The staff were so welcoming and the service was efficient and friendly. The food and ambience was fantastic and I felt like I was in a London restaurant. I’ve been lucky enough to work in London in the radio and media industry and through the years have taken many clients out to amazing restaurants and Incontri would not be out of place in the Fitzrovia area of London were all the media types hang out for lunch and dinner. So glad this restaurant has arrived in Dunfermline and I hope the people of Dunfermline and further afield support this beautiful restaurant. We have friends coming over from Edinburgh this weekend and I will be taking them there.
Thanks Kirsty for your comment. Great to hear it compares with your London experience. Cheers
